Tell me more about the Refractive Surgery Consultant™ Elite?
The Refractive Surgery Consultant™ Elite is a surgical outcomes tracking program that relates expected surgical outcomes to actual surgical results. It is designed for refractive surgeons, and used by practice managers, administrators, and others who need to evaluate outcomes. The Refractive Surgery Consultant™ Elite is a "Smart Database Program" that utilizes ongoing refractive outcomes to assist in surgical planning. Both surgeon-and patient-dependent variables are considered. Outcomes are no longer limited to mere  reports of "...what happened before."  Sophisticated outcomes analysis will now allow a surgeon to determine what will happen next time, thus affording the improvement of surgical results.  Optimized Nomograms™ can now be generated for both myopia and hyperopia.

What will the software program do for me?

Use of this software program should allow a refractive surgeon to (1) improve outcome predictability, (2) decrease practice enhancement rates and (3) significantly decrease the possibility of unexpected results by better analyzing known preoperative characteristics. Each surgeon generates his or her own Optimized Nomogram™ which is customized to his or her specific technique.

The interactive, Dynamic Reports Package provides a comprehensive view of your outcomes. You will find more and more uses for the data reports as you use them. Compare surgeons, lasers, or techniques. Detect trends over time. Perform data analysis that used to take days in a matter of minutes, ready for export to PowerPoint or a manuscript. The number of uses depends on your needs and level of interest, and range from clinical outcomes to research to quality assurance to marketing!
